Hi, I’m Danielle.

I’ve always been into art—started with painting, but life had other plans. I went to school for architectural engineering and (for some reason) passed on graphic design, which I’ve regretted ever since.

I spent the last 20 years bartending and making all kinds of art on the side. In 2022, I started my own handmade soap business, Get Naked Soap Co. I did it all myself—branding, packaging, social media, photography, and yep, the soap too. I even taught myself Adobe and started learning new ways to promote my brand. That’s when I realized graphic design wasn’t just a hobby—it was what I really wanted to do.

So now I’m back in school at SNHU, working on my BA in Graphic Design with a focus on web design. It’s been a long road getting here, but I’m finally going after what I love—and I’m all in.

Why Design

Honestly? Because I love it. I’ve always been creative, but it wasn’t until I started building my soap business that I realized how much I really love design. I was way more excited about making the logo, styling product shots, and figuring out how everything looked and felt than I was about the actual soap.

Design just makes sense to me. I love bringing ideas to life, making things look good, and figuring out how to tell a story through visuals. It’s the perfect mix of creativity and problem-solving—and I could do it all day.
